Two events held at The SSE Arena, Belfast have been nominated in the 2024 Ticketmaster Ireland Awards, offering members of the public the opportunity to spotlight and vote for their favourite live events and shows of the last year from across the island of Ireland.

The sold-out 2022/23 Challenge Cup final between the Stena Line Belfast Giants and the Fife Flyers, which was won 9-3 by Adam Keefe’s men in teal in March 2023, has been nominated for ‘Sporting Event of the Year’, alongside the likes of the Heineken Champions Cup final and Manchester United vs Athletic Bilbao at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

Meanwhile, Paul Smith’s side-splitting ‘Joker’ tour at The SSE Arena, which hilariously mixed the Scouse comics trademark crowd banter with hysterical anecdotes from his own life, is up against the likes of James Acaster, Joanne McNally, and Peter Kay for the title of ‘Comedy Event of the Year’.

Don’t miss your chance to decide which performances deserve the ultimate standing ovation. Voting is now open until Sunday 4 February 2024, with winners announced on Monday 12 February 2024. To vote and be in with a chance of winning a €250 Ticketmaster gift card, please click here.
